The Primary Intervention Program (PIP) is designed as an early intervention to introduce participants to the concepts of addiction and recovery. The information and activities are intended to assist participants in understanding substance abuse patterns that may lead to long-term life difficulties.
Program Duration:
- PIP is a minimum duration of fourteen weeks, one group per week. (14 - 90 minute sessions)
- There will be an exit interview in which progress in the program will be discussed along with
any barriers to ongoing success.
- The Primary intervention Program meets the California Deferred Entry of Judgment (DEJ) requirements.
